2D Local and 3D Global Finite Element Structural Analysis 

For the majority of our projects we use 2D local and 3D global finite element analysis to gain a better understanding of the structure’s behaviour. 

These tools offer advantages ranging from assessing large number of load combinations, complex geometries and stability effects (e.g. from gravity and wind), to  generating local material stresses, and exploring nonlinear material, boundary and deflection effects.  

Such tools enable us to quickly arrive at optimised (and rationalised) solutions, consider buildability, e.g. splice connections, and structural effects both in the permanent and temporary state.
